It’s official! New York’s third congressional district just elected Democrat Tom Suozzi.

Even with notorious fraudster George Santos’s ringing endorsement, Mazi Melesa Pilip still couldn’t secure the victory, losing by 13,000 votes. 

We have you to thank for that. From phonebanking to door knocking to casting your ballot in this special election, you were able to make sure the MAGA majority in Congress got one seat smaller.  

This victory matters for everyone. House Republicans are down to one of the narrowest majorities in history—and we’ve just made it even harder for them to promote their extreme agenda. Thanks to you, there’s one less election-denier in the House, and we’re even closer to electing a House majority that will stand up for our democracy in November.

Remember: when we can shut extremism down in one state, we’re protecting our democracy and fundamental freedoms in every state. That’s always a victory worth celebrating.
