To turn their seats blue!

There are many things I love about being executive director of the DLGA — including getting to flip seats blue across the country. The thing is, it takes a lot of love from folks like you — in the form of volunteer hours, votes, and contributions — to help us win every November. Will you be our Valentine by contributing $10 to our efforts today?

But, if you’re afraid of that kind of commitment, here are three things I love about the DLGA that may convince you to support us:

❤️ Diversity is our strength: We represent the most diverse group of statewide electeds in the nation — over 75% of our Democratic lt. governors are women and people of color! Our Chair Peggy Flanagan is the first Native American woman to chair a national party committee, and she isn’t the only one of our leaders breaking barriers. We believe different backgrounds and experiences help us foster a more inclusive and compassionate society and Democratic Party, and the DLGA is at the forefront of that movement.

❤️ We dream big: We may not have the funding that other organizations have, but we don’t let that stop us from making a big difference. We set a goal of raising $5,000 in grassroots donations online this month, and frankly, that is going to be impossible without reliable supporters like you. Will you chip in $10 right now to help us keep dreaming big?

❤️ We have YOU: Yes, you. You’ve been a strong supporter of our work, and we can’t do this without you. We have a chance to flip North Carolina, West Virginia, North Dakota, and Montana’s lt. governor seats from red to blue this year, but we can only do that with your support.
