John, did you know that approximately 40 percent of all campaign donations occur in the final 30 days before an election?

Too late to hire campaign organizers. Too late to print new campaign literature or add campaign stops in battleground states. More often than not, these late donations go toward one thing: More TV and digital advertising.

Don’t get me wrong, we’re grateful for any support for our campaign at any time. But whether or not we can afford to send Cory to critical get-out-the-vote rallies and volunteer events to drive up turnout in battleground states will come down to our fundraising in the early part of this year — and tomorrow’s mid-quarter FEC fundraising deadline is no exception.
