Up and down the ballot and across the country democracy keeps winning. Why? Because volunteers keep stepping up to do the work.

Last night we beat two MAGA Republican extremists by calling, knocking on doors, sending texts, and using all the other tools available to reach voters.

Thanks to wins in New York’s 3rd congressional district and Pennsylvania’s 140th house district, democracy is a little safer than it was yesterday.

Tom Suozzi will soon return to Congress, shrinking the MAGA majority there–and making it harder for Speaker MAGA Mike to block progress by doing Trump’s bidding. And Jim Prokopiak will take a vacant seat in the Pennsylvania state house to secure a pro-democracy majority, crucial in one of the nation’s most important battlegrounds.

What does this tell us? That we have a winning game plan.

Talking to voters works. Canvassing works. Postcarding works. Doing the hard work works. So let’s keep pushing right through November!
