The?Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) provides daily operational oversight support that includes the maintenance and repair of properties located in Thurston County under DES? stewardship, and most notably the State Capitol Campus. The selected candidate will assist the Maintenance and Repair Superintendent with the responsibility of providing leadership and management to division staff and shall provide operational insight and recommendations for biennial operating budget more than $13.3 million biennially.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, critical thinking, sound judgement, and knowledge of facility maintenance and industry best practices which are all essential for the AOM to make inform decisions. In addition, commitment to safety and quality assurances and skills in interpreting and implementing new policies is essential to effective program delivery.
