During COVID-19 we should be focused on coming together.

Hey John,
Generation Progress is partnering with the Home is Here campaign to urge the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) to delay their decision on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (or DACA) program.
We are encouraging everyone across the nation to show their support online for the immigrants that make our communities great. [[link removed]]
In November 2019, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments about whether or not President Trump’s decision to end DACA was legal. DACA has provided temporary relief from deportation as well as work authorizations for over 800,000 undocumented young people in the U.S.
Immigrations and Custom Enforcement (ICE) recently confirmed that they intend to deport DACA recipients if the Supreme Court rules on Trump’s side.

When the SCOTUS decision is released, it will impact the lives of thousands of young people across the country who have only known America as home.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, people are losing their jobs—missing money for food, rent, and bills. DACA recipients are also on the frontlines of this crisis, as educators, medical professionals, custodial, service workers, and more.
In fact, 27,000 DACA recipients are health care practitioners. We can’t afford to lose them. Not during this crisis and not after.
This virus has shown us now more than ever before, that we are dependent on one other. No matter where we come from or what we look like, we must come together.
Will you join us online today to demand that SCOTUS delay their ruling on DACA amid the COVID-19 crisis? [[link removed]]
Thanks for being in this fight,Lotanna Obodozie
