We’re living in a new era and that’s hard to shake off, but we have a reputation for tackling tough issues.

Right now, we’re tackling a critical issue: defending the human right to seek asylum. In Washington, lawmakers are shamelessly using migrants as pawns and no matter what they try to do, we refuse to back down from the fight.

To sustain our efforts, we need the resources to rally advocates and counter any threats to the U.S. asylum system.

That’s why I’m reaching out today to ask you to add a gift of any amount to help us reach our February goal of adding 300 grassroots donations. The more resources we have, the stronger our fight.

We’ve been part of the broad coalition of organizations, advocates, activists, community leaders, and voters who have been instrumental in the movement for immigrant justice across the nation.

It’s crucial that we remain focused on the bigger picture and continue to advocate for change because, right now, our communities are experiencing heightened attacks and inhumane treatment that we are directly fighting to end.

The fact is that we must keep up our work to defend the rights of immigrants struggling to live and work in the U.S. They deserve respect, the freedom to thrive and long-overdue justice.
