Hi folks,

As I’m sure you know by now, it’s been a very eventful month for our campaign and our fight to keep New Jersey blue.

Between two new Republican opponents announcing campaigns to flip my seat and Donald Trump bragging that he’d be making a “heavy play” for New Jersey this year, all of this means that a tidal wave of attack ads and outside spending could come into our district sooner than expected. That has my campaign team on high alert.

But if I’m being honest, attack ads aren’t what bother me. If they want to have at me, they are welcome to. My record speaks for itself.

What bothers me is that Donald Trump and his MAGA allies think that they can come to New Jersey and sell their brand of divisive, rage-filled, authoritarian politics. To be frank, I’m just sick of it.

As a Navy veteran, I’m sick of the attacks on our Constitution — the same Constitution I swore an oath to defend. As a mother, I’m sick of the assaults on the fundamental rights and freedoms of women and girls. As a human being, I’m sick of the outbursts that target and threaten the most vulnerable groups in our community.

New Jersey is better than this. And together, we can show Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans that this team will be ready to respond to anything they throw at us.
