I love North Carolina. I'm grateful for the opportunity to represent our community here in Wake County. Walking Wylie all around Raleigh and meeting constituents is one of my favorite parts of this job.
With Election Day less than nine months away, I'm more focused than ever on the fight to lower health care and housing costs, expand voting rights, and protect reproductive freedom. Unfortunately, my Republican colleagues don't seem to be on the same page. They’d rather prioritize political stunts over responsible governance.
While working families are burdened by high costs, Republicans don't lift a finger. While North Carolinians are denied fair representation, Republicans (not-so) secretly gerrymander their districts. While women nationwide get their rights stripped away, Republicans advocate for and pass abortion bans.
