It's Andy here, and I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to give you a quick update on the state budget situation. The House just heard the GOP budget, and let me tell you, it's not aligning with the vision we've been working so hard to build for Kentucky.

In my budget proposal, I aimed for transformative investments in education, infrastructure, healthcare, and public safety. We've got the largest General Fund surplus and rainy day fund in Kentucky’s history, and now is the time to use them wisely to improve the lives of every Kentuckian.

But, unfortunately, the GOP seems to have a different plan. They're underfunding, or not funding at all, essential services that could impact everything from clean water to childcare for our workforce. Instead of moving forward together, they want to take us backward, leaving some Kentuckians behind.

Even though I'm not on the ballot this year, I won’t stop working to move Kentucky forward.  We need to carry that momentum through this year's elections, and that means raising money to invest in state legislative races. We can shift the dynamic in the legislature and invest in the people of Kentucky. Your support makes a real difference.
