** Why Courts Matter

As the noise of the 2024 election cycle continues to take up a ton of space, NPP is making a commitment to ensuring important conversations around courts and judges doesn’t stop during this even year election. With that said, we’ll be partnering with Why Courts Matter-PA —a non-partisan advocacy campaign seeking to protect the independence of our state and federal courts, and educate the electorate about their importance — to bring “Courts Corner” to each NPP eBlast in 2024. #CourtsMatter

Pennsylvania high court revives a case challenging Medicaid limits for abortions ([link removed])

* Pennsylvania's Supreme Court said Monday that a lower court must hear a challenge to the constitutionality of a decades-old state law that limits the use of Medicaid dollars to cover the cost of abortions, a major victory for Planned Parenthood and the abortion clinic operators who sued.

Jackson Women’s Health Organization had an immediate and devastating impact on gender equality in the United States.
