Subject: Endorsement for AD-32
Dear Central Committee Members,
As many if not all of you are aware, State Assemblyman Vince Fong is not running for Assembly District 32 and has made clear, he is solely focused on his congressional bid. Due to this, Mr. Ken Weir has decided to run for this district as a write-in candidate. Mr. Weir is a former school board trustee, current Bakersfield City Councilman, CPA, and Chairman of the Kern County Republican Party.
Because of this, Mr. Weir has requested our endorsement.
To comply with our notice requirements within bylaws, and to accommodate this week’s busy schedule for our members while also taking into account the timely schedule of this write-in campaign, I am asking for an endorsement vote via email.
