Last week's vote by House Republicans to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas fell short due to poor planning and the "No" votes from a handful of RINO Republicans.

Mayorkas has blatantly disregarded federal immigration laws, leading to historic illegal crossings, surging drug and human trafficking, and record terror watchlist apprehensions at the border.

Secretary Mayorkas must be held responsible for his dereliction of duty. His actions have not only compromised our border security but have also undermined our country's sovereignty.

The American people continue to demand accountability for the unchecked crisis at our southern border, and tonight, I will once again vote to impeach Secretary Mayorkas.
