New Politics

Team, I founded New Politics to help service-oriented leaders take the next step into political service because frankly, our politics desperately needs them.

Part of that mission is going beyond dollars to provide community-oriented support that connects leaders to each other: to network, to give advice, and to create a support system while they make a difficult transition into politics.

So today, we wanted to ask what advice YOU would give to candidates running for office, many for the first time. Whether you’re in politics or just have thoughts on what qualities you like to see in your elected officials, your point of view is important and we want to hear it! Let us know what advice you’d give to New Politics candidates here.

I’ve been in this campaign work for over a decade now, so I certainly have my own advice to give. I shared my five tips for running for office with the business journal Bizwomen, check them out here:

We want to hear from you, make sure to let us know what advice you have for our candidates here. >>

New Politics supports outstanding military veterans and national service leaders, alumni of programs like AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps, to step up and serve our country again, this time through politics. We were proud to be behind the movement of veterans who ran for office for the first time in 2018, and we have big plans to grow into the future.
