How Will You Fuel Our

Incredible Researchers?

Let’s celebrate the achievements of our researchers working to improve the lives of all Americans this Black History Month and all year long.

We’re celebrating researchers making an impact for all!

Friend,

February is Black History Month, and here at the American Diabetes Association® (ADA), we’re celebrating the impact our Black researchers have on advancing diabetes care and improving the lives of everyone affected by diabetes.

One of our researchers, Eva Marie Vivian, PharmD, has received ADA funding for her project which promotes generational health behavior changes.

A donation of $20 will fuel the work of a researcher like Dr. Vivian for 20 minutes—that’s a dollar per minute. How far can she go with your help?

A generous contribution from you today will help the ADA continue to fund projects like these and researchers like Dr. Vivian—and will:

  • Provide critical diabetes resources to communities at high risk

  • Fight against diabetes discrimination and health disparities

  • Promote diabetes awareness, prevention, and education

  • Advocate for equitable access to affordable health care

  • And so much more!

This February, we’re taking extra time to recognize and appreciate the contributions of our Black researchers in improving treatments and care and making headway in our relentless search for a cure. Show your appreciation for these powerhouse researchers by fueling their life-improving and lifesaving work.
