Friend,

Early this morning, I voted no on the Senate’s foreign aid bill.

Here are a few reasons why:

—> The Senate spent four months promising to secure our own border before focusing on other countries’ borders.

—> A huge chunk of the money in the bill would’ve been budget support for Ukraine’s government, not defense.

—> Another chunk could’ve gone to Gaza, which means it would go to Hamas.

—> Instead of sending aid to Hamas, how about we don’t spend that money when we have $1 trillion deficits? Or, if we must spend it, spend it on our defense?

Democrats care more about other countries’ borders than our own borders. They’re ideologically invested in open borders here in America.

That’s why things are where they are, but we can’t stop fighting.

We must close and secure our border. We must support Israel, and we must not do anything to help Hamas. And we must make America strong again.

I’ll continue to lead the charge. How about you?

Meet Tom Cotton

Tom Cotton was born and raised on his family’s cattle farm in Arkansas, served as an Army infantry officer in Iraq and Afghanistan, and is fighting for working Americans in the U.S. Senate.

The tragic attacks of September 11, 2001 occurred during Tom’s final year of law school and changed his life’s trajectory.

After clerking on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and spending a short time in private law practice, he joined the United States Army as an Infantry Officer, spending nearly five years on active duty.

Between his two combat tours he served as a platoon leader with the Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery, the unit responsible for military honors funerals.

Tom’s military decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, and Ranger Tab.

In the U.S. Senate, he’s fighting the tough battles for Arkansans and Americans, and delivering real results. He knows that only the strong can survive in a dangerous world, and he’s building a movement to make America strong again.
