From the campaign trail to the White House to Congress, all signs point to an increasingly precarious moment for American democracy. The American people have seemingly nowhere to turn for stability and common sense:
NO DEAL FOR THE BORDER: America faces a staggering immigration crisis affecting all 50 states. Migrant encounters are at or near record levels at both our southern and northern borders. But despite positive bipartisan negotiations, extreme voices in both parties managed to scuttle a deal in Congress.
NO DEAL ON ISRAEL: While our ally Israel continues to be under threat from terrorists and the situation in the Middle East grows more dangerous by the day, our government can't seem to come together to support our allies and interests overseas.
TRUMP'S NATO COMMENTS: Speaking at a rally on Saturday, former President Trump warned allies that he “would encourage” Russia “to do whatever the hell they want” to a NATO member that didn’t meet defense spending targets.
SPECIAL COUNSEL: The special counsel investigating President Biden's handling of classified documents released a report raising questions over the President's age and memory.
For most Americans, the state of our politics is now a source of genuine anxiety and fear. We are worried about the nation we're leaving behind for our children's generation.
There is a growing sense that it is "now or never" if we hope to get back on the right track.
That's why growing our million-person movement is so important now. The American people need somewhere to turn for hope.
Our plan is simple: Ignore the detractors and keep moving forward. Continue our ballot access work in the states while facilitating bipartisan solutions in Congress. Offer Washington and the American people a better way.
We need to raise $25,000 or more in February to reach our monthly goal. Will you click here to contribute $3 or whatever you can right now?
