Hey, it’s Alison — Emily’s partner of 18 years and wife (!!) of six months.

I don’t usually get sappy, but tomorrow is our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, and I’d like your help with a gift for Emily.

Last month, we asked you to endorse Emily’s campaign — and you responded in a big way! I can tell how energized Emily gets when she reads your supportive messages.

So, as a gift for Emily while she’s hard at work in the State Senate, can we hit 500 personal endorsements by tomorrow? Fill out this form to show your support, and feel free to leave an additional message for Emily → [[link removed]]

It’s not flowers or candy, but it’s a fitting gift for someone who works as hard as Emily.

As you read this, Emily is working in the State Senate on issues ranging from union rights and reproductive freedom to ferry funding. If it helps her constituents, she’ll move mountains to get it done.

That’s why I know Emily will be an incredible Congresswoman. No one works harder. We’re talking about someone who was her own wedding planner!*

As long as I’ve known Emily, she’s cared more about results than recognition, but I know your support means the world to her (and to me). Please take a minute to add your personal endorsement for our campaign, and feel free to add an additional note → [[link removed]]

Thank you so much!

— Alison

*Not only did she plan our wedding — she also sewed the napkins and baked ten loaves of bread for the reception. Seriously, imagine her in Congress.
