After the January 6th insurrection, nearly two hundred corporations and industry groups said they would pause or altogether stop making political contributions to the 147 members of Congress who voted against certifying the election.

CREW has been tracking corporate donors to those members, known as the Sedition Caucus, for three years now.

General Motors: $600,000Several of the top corporate contributors to the Sedition Caucus, including Boeing, AT&T, and Valero Energy actually promised after the insurrection that they would stop or pause donations to the members who spread the Big Lie. Obviously, they’ve reconsidered, despite the fact that Sedition Caucus members continue to push election lies and erode democracy.

John, these members of Congress are just as dangerous today as they were on January 6th, 2021, when these companies pledged to stop campaign contributions.
