Republicans around the country are rallying behind Donald Trump, and right-wing election lies and conspiracy theories are already spreading like crazy.

Here are just a few examples from the first 40 days of 2024:

🥸Taylor Swift and Joe Biden rigged the Super Bowl for the Chiefs.
🧐Members of the Chinese military are entering the United States en masse at our southern border.
🫠Texas Governor Greg Abbott accused former President Obama of running a deep state conspiracy to prevent Joe Biden from being the Democratic Presidential nominee.

John, some of these are funny, some are crazy, and some are downright frightening.

But no matter how you feel about them, this much is undeniable: since 2016, right-wing misinformation has had a terrible impact on our elections and our democracy.
