Our endorsements for the Feb. 20 Primary Election are out!

We’re excited to endorse Joey Prestley for Green Bay Common Council District 6, Christina Thor for Green Bay Common Council District 11, and Zachary Rust for Sheboygan City Council District 8.

These candidates care deeply about the issues that matter most to conservation voters – clean energy, addressing the climate crisis, clean, safe drinking water, and protecting our freedom to vote.

Joey Prestley for Green Bay Common Council District 6
Joey’s district has seen the impacts of climate change firsthand. Most of his district is in the floodplain and he knows his neighbors deserve an alder that will prioritize climate resilience and support the transition to a clean energy future.

Christina Thor for Green Bay Common Council District 11
Christina is a working mother, daughter of refugees, non-profit executive director, and activist running to make her district and city a better place. We need Christina’s experience and leadership on the common council to continue to push Green Bay towards a clean energy future and address environmental justice from an intersectional perspective. If elected, Christina would be the first Hmong American to serve on Green Bay’s Common Council.

Zachary Rust for Sheboygan City Council District 8
Zachary earned our endorsement in 2022 and we are thrilled to support his re-election. As an electrician, he knows the important role that cities play in addressing climate change and transitioning to a clean energy future.
