Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. But instead of spending it with their loved ones, many troops currently serving will have to miss this precious moment, among many. My husband is in the Air Force, so we know what it's like to spend these special days thousands of miles apart. While nothing can make up for those moments missed, I can tell you that having the support and gratitude of folks back home truly meant the world — to both of us.

So ahead of this day celebrating love and warmth, consider sharing some of that with the brave heroes in uniform who sacrifice so much to protect us and those we love. Please, will you be one of 25,000 patriotic Americans we need to sign our special Valentine's Day card via email and text message for our military heroes before tomorrow at midnight?

As the flowers and chocolate gifts arrive, families of those serving across the nation and overseas will still feel something missing: the presence of their loved ones. The USO knows how critical it is to help them through these moments and many more, which is why we're asking you to help us send a card to let our brave troops know they aren't alone.

Your signature, alongside those of thousands of other Americans, will go a long way in supporting not only our heroes in uniform but also the many families eagerly waiting for their return home. So please, don't miss this opportunity to thank our troops: Sign our Valentine's Day card now.

Thank you so much,

Jamie Finfrock, USO
