Joint AASD/DSD messages

PCA now covers driving provided by PCA workers

• Audience: People who use PCA, their families, PCA provider agencies and other interested parties
• Effective date: Immediately
• Summary: DHS updated PCA policy to reflect a recent change in statute. PCA now covers a PCA worker driving an adult into the community, including to medical appointments.

Webinar announcement: DWRS Quarterly Webinars

• Audience: Providers, lead agencies, people who receive services, direct care workers and other interested parties
• Event dates: March 27, June 26, Sept. 25 and Dec. 11, 2024
• Summary: DHS plans to hold quarterly webinars for people interested in the DWRS.
