The past few weeks have been a rollercoaster for gun violence prevention advocates in Wisconsin.
Hundreds of you have sent messages to our legislators, and we were thrilled to see many of you at our online event last week.
However, as the end of the legislative session nears, there are lifesaving bills that still need action. We cannot rest yet. We must keep reminding our legislators: They have a duty to help keep our families and communities safe from gun violence.
We know our lawmakers are listening. Our allies in the Capitol have even told us that our efforts are forcing legislators to back away from some of their dangerous, pro-gun bills. Help us keep the pressure on. Contact your legislators now. Urge them to make commonsense gun laws a top priority.
