Welcome our new Alaska State Chair, Rep. Cathy Tilton!
Alaska State Rep and State Chair Cathy Tilton
Representative Cathy Tilton is in her third term in the Alaska State House of Representatives serving Alaska’s Twelfth House district which includes portions of Alaska’s two largest municipalities: The Municipality of Anchorage and the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is Alaska’s fastest growing region.

In the 2018 election cycle, she won her district with over 75% of the vote in a contested General election. In that same cycle, she tirelessly assisted numerous other Republican candidates for the Alaska State House of Representatives.

Currently, she serves as the ranking member of the House Finance Committee for the House Republican Caucus. Previously she served as the chair of the House Community and Regional Affairs Committee, the first sole chair of that committee in twenty (20) years.

In her current role, she represents her caucus on the conference committees for the operating and capital budgets in addition to providing guidance to the caucus’s other Finance members and the caucus, generally, on all budgetary matters.

Since being elected, she has been selected for several prestigious leadership programs including: The American Legislative Exchange Council’s Budget and Taxation Summit, the Council of State Governments-West’s Western Legislative Academy and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business Emerging Leadership Program.

Prior to being elected, she served as staff to Republican members of the Alaska State Senate and the Alaska State House.

Senator Joni Ernst, Iowa
Senator Joni Ernst

Joni Ernst is a mother, a soldier and a leader. From the start, she has taken on Washington and delivered on her pledge to “Make ‘em Squeal.”

In 2014, Iowans called for bold leadership. Someone who would work hard, stand up to the coastal elites, and always fight for Iowa. That is exactly what they got in Joni Ernst who became the first woman elected to represent Iowa in federal office, and the first female combat veteran to serve in the Senate. She relentlessly tackles the most pressing issues facing our country including continuing to grow the economy, cutting reckless spending, and keeping our nation safe and secure.

Joni believes accessibility, transparency and accountability are fundamental, which is why every year, she travels the state visiting every county to better serve Iowans and deliver results.
