Hello from the White House!

Hi John,
Our innovative program to educate people about President Biden's Affordable Clean Energy Plan is getting noticed – even by the White House!
Today, I had the honor to present to John Podesta, the senior advisor to the president for international climate policy (at right), and other administration officials about the work we’re doing in Wisconsin to make sure consumers know how they can save money and fight climate change through the Inflation Reduction Act.
This program started as an idea a year ago (almost exactly a year) and has grown to one of the leading IRA education programs in the country. We've knocked on almost 76,000 doors to make sure that people know about these incredible opportunities to make your home more energy efficient and invest in clean energy while also saving money. And that's just the beginning. As we launch into 2024, we are already doing presentations around the state, training volunteers to reach their own networks about the IRA, putting together creative communications strategies, and making plans to knock on another 200,000 doors.
Biden's Clean Energy Plan is the largest investment in clean energy on the planet and in U.S. history, but it only works if we take advantage of it. For example, did you know there’s a 30 percent tax credit on home solar, heat pumps, geothermal, and battery storage?

While it was truly an honor to share our program with officials in the White House, the Department of Energy, and the Treasury Department, I am even more grateful President Biden and Congress worked so hard to get this landmark legislation across the finish line. They recognized the existential threat climate change poses and met that challenge head on, creating a path to a 100 percent clean energy future.
That's the power of the conservation voter movement! Your voice, your vote, and your generous support for this movement are making a difference.
This is a critical year for climate action and – together – we'll do even more. We'll work to elect leaders who will continue to prioritize climate action. We'll knock on tens of thousands more doors across Wisconsin to keep this momentum for clean energy implementation going. We'll keep organizing in our local communities for 100% clean energy commitments and we'll keep sharing the encouraging stories of people like you who are protecting the environment -- and saving money while they're at it!
Our clean energy future is arriving -- and people like you are making it happen. Your membership support makes this possible -- thank you for your partnership!
ready for your content.
Thanks for being a conservation voter,
