I just got off the phone with the finance team, and I wanted to pass their update along. Here’s where we stand as of 8:00 AM this morning:
February Final FEC Filing:
Goal: $100,000
Raised: $45,862
Outstanding: $54,138
Let me tell you why this matters more than ever:
It’s the finance team’s job to raise money, and it’s my job to spend it as efficiently as possible to make sure we’re getting Brian’s story and message out to voters. We’ve been talking to you about the importance of fundraising for months and now we’re seeing the fruits of our labor (and your generosity).
Over the next three weeks, we will spend nearly half of what we’ve raised over the last 9 months. I’ve triple checked the numbers and hitting our goal of $100,000 will mean we can fully execute our plans.
