We’re not much in the business of defending Nikki Haley, but over the weekend Trump made fun of her husband, Michael Haley, for not campaigning with his wife.

One problem: Major Michael Haley is deployed, serving his country.

But Trump wouldn’t understand that. He’ll never understand what it means to serve your country.

He’s too busy selling out our allies — at the same speech, he encouraged Putin to attack NATO members. Said he’d encourage Putin to do whatever the hell he wanted. He is pushing destabilization on a global scale, and the destruction of an alliance that has kept western democracies safe for 75 years.

This guy almost makes Benedict Arnold look good.

From retired Army General Wesley Clark, former Commander of NATO forces during the Kosovo War: “It’s an appalling statement that could only come from a deranged and twisted mind. I do not say this lightly: A second Trump presidency would put the lives of every American, both in uniform and civilian, at severe risk.”

It is up to us to make sure that the American people know what Trump is saying and doing.

We can’t count on the media to cover this threat appropriately. The Republican Party is falling in lockstep behind him, with Eisenhower and Reagan rolling in their graves.

This falls on us. So please, we’re depending on your help to get the job done.
