Here are some recent updates.
* Former President Donald Trump asked ([link removed]) the U.S. Supreme Court to pause a lower court ruling that he is not immune from criminal prosecution while he appeals the decision.
* The Florida Supreme Court will not expedite consideration of a lawsuit challenging ([link removed]) the state's congressional map. The scheduling means that a decision on whether the maps violate the state constitution likely won't come in time for the 2024 election.
* The Arizona Free Enterprise Club, a conservative nonprofit, filed ([link removed]) a lawsuit challenging Arizona's new Elections Procedure Manual. The group argues that a provision intended to protect voters from intimidation and harassment is unconstitutional.
+ This is the third ([link removed]) lawsuit ([link removed]) brought by conservatives challenging the state’s new election manual, and the seventh active lawsuit filed by anti-voting groups targeting election administration in the state.
* The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals heard ([link removed]) oral argument in a lawsuit challenging two laws that prevent former Hawaii residents from voting absentee for president in their former state if they currently live in certain U.S. territories.
* The Vet Voice Foundation and Mississippi Alliance for Retired Americans asked ([link removed]) to intervene in a Republican lawsuit and defend Mississippi's absentee ballot receipt deadline. The Republican National Committee claims that Mississippi's receipt deadline violates federal law.
* Georgia Republicans are trying ([link removed]) to eliminate the QR codes election officials use to electronically count ballots. The QR codes have been the target of misinformation about election security in Georgia, but multiple reports have found them to be safe.

* The New York Independent Redistricting Commission will meet on Thursday to vote ([link removed]) on a final congressional map to propose to the state legislature.
