Friend,

We always circle February 12th on our calendar because a little over two centuries ago, a true democracy defender was born. A president who fought for what he believed in, didn’t play politics, and led America through the wilderness. Basically, the complete opposite of Donald Trump.

So we can’t help but wonder, what would he think of all this? What would he think of an insurrection at the Capitol or the Republican front runner for president being involved in multiple criminal cases during his campaign? We think we have a hunch.

He’d be disgusted. He’d be at a loss for words. He’d question how the executive branch could be taken over by a lying, orange maniac.

But, we think he’d also look at what we have now and see that the resiliency that America has always embodied is alive and well. He’d see a real leader in charge who puts citizens first, breaks economic records on a weekly basis, and knows how to run the free world.

So, what do we think Honest Abe would wish for today? Simple: for Americans to vote. For the people of this country to use the right he so passionately fought for to re-elect a leader and save democracy. Lincoln helped us build it – we can’t let Trump destroy it. Vote for democracy this November.
