Dear Friends, All of us at the National Constitution Center are inspired by the outpouring of enthusiasm from parents, students, and teachers as we launch our remote learning initiative, which will offer free live interactive constitutional classes for the next eight weeks. During our soft-launch last week, we had nearly 800 students and teachers join for a great set of classes. Kerry Sautner and I taught Friday's class on the Fourth Amendment for high school and college students, and the video is available here. It doesn't include the live chat Q&A, but you will get a sense of the energy. Please join Kerry and me this week, starting today at 1 p.m. where we will teach a live interactive class on the First Amendment’s Freedom of Speech and Press. Students and teachers who register through Zoom can ask questions in real time, and anyone can watch the livestream from home computer, laptop, or phone. And please join us for any of our upcoming sessions, available here. Or watch videos of recorded sessions which will be posted here. I'm also thrilled to announce we will be launching our virtual America's Town Hall series with scholars Lindsay Chervinsky and Edward Foley on Thursday, April 2, at 7 p.m. ET. We will be discussing the legacy of George Washington. Please tune in and check out the entire series of virtual public programs, which will be announced over the coming weeks. Thanks, as always, for your support of the National Constitution Center, and for educating yourself about the U.S. Constitution!
