We're just weeks into 2024, and 4,001 people have lost their lives to gun violence in the United States.

Johh, every year when I read headlines like "Axios Denver: Colorado's mass shootings spiked in 2023," I grow angrier and angrier knowing that, to this day, a solution is right in front of our eyes: banning high-capacity magazines.

The Keep Americans Safe Act would protect Americans by banning the high-capacity magazines that have been used to wreak so much destruction in our country and steal away so many loved ones. That's why I, along with other House Democrats, recently announced a new discharge petition to force a vote on the Keep Americans Safe Act.

Yet, right-wing gun lobby groups and the most extreme Republicans continue to stand in the way of progress. That's why I need your support now more than ever.

I've never been afraid to stand up against the gun lobby. So, I'll continue to champion common-sense gun reform legislation.
