Submit Your Workshop Proposals for the 2024 Prosperity Summit!

The 2024 Prosperity Summit [[link removed]] is quickly approaching! We are excited to announce that we are now accepting workshop proposals for the main event this September. We are excited for the opportunity to feature field-generated sessions highlighting research, promising practices, tested tools, stories of successful collaborations, lessons learned, and local initiatives tackling community-wide economic issues. We are hoping for a wide variety of submissions that align with Prosperity Now’s aim to broaden our tent for new voices and perspectives, leverage this moment at the Summit to mobilize for change, and promote inclusivity and belonging in the movement.

Affordable Housing Network Steering Committee member Phyllis Caldwell-George [[link removed]] is the President & CEO of Financial Pathways of the Piedmont [[link removed]] (FPP), located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The organization provides services and resources to help individuals achieve financial well-being as well as credible, trustworthy assistance to clients to help them prosper and attain their goals, including housing and homeownership. Phyllis has been with the organization for over 25 years; she shared that she remembers making referrals to FPP as a recovery analyst years before she joined the organization as a financial counselor in 1998.
