NIJ seeks applications for rigorous research and evaluation projects in three areas:
- Valuation of programs that provide services for victims of crime.
- Research on supporting victims of community violence.
- Research on the financial costs of crime victimization.
Application Instructions
Applications will be submitted in a two-step process, each step with its own deadline:
- Submit an SF-424 and an SF-LLL in gov.
Grants.gov Deadline: April 17, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET
- Submit the full application, including attachments, in JustGrants.
JustGrants Deadline: May 1, 2024 at 8:59 p.m. ET
Applicants must register with Grants.gov and JustGrants prior to submitting an application.
This solicitation is competitive; therefore, NIJ staff cannot have individual conversations with prospective applicants. The following application elements must be included in the application to meet the basic minimum requirements to advance to peer review and receive consideration for funding:
- SF-424 and SF-LLL (in Grants.gov).
- Proposal Narrative (in JustGrants).
- Budget Web-Based Form, which includes the budget details and the budget narrative (in JustGrants).
- Financial Management and System of Internal Controls Questionnaire, including applicant disclosure of high-risk status (in JustGrants).
- Curriculum Vitae/Resumes for Key Personnel. (For purposes of this solicitation, ?key personnel? means the principal investigator, and any and all co-principal investigators.)
