I want to keep you updated about my work in Congress, friend. Congress has a monumental decision to make — to support Ukraine in their defense of democracy, or to abandon them when they need our support the most.
For the last two years, the Ukrainian people have won battle after battle in their fight against Putin’s tyrannical war, and they have astonished the world.
They’ve accomplished incredible feats on the frontline thanks to the resilience, imagination, and sacrifice of their people — and the humanitarian and military aid provided by the United States and our allies.
Ukraine has earned our continued support, but for the last several months, Republicans in Congress have thrown up roadblocks sending them more aid. We don’t have time to delay, and Ukraine doesn’t have time to spare.
In the push to get this bill done, I joined a number of news outlets to stress the urgency of this moment.
