I wanted you to be one of the first to know that we did it! I am officially on the Democratic ballot in PA-10!
For the past three weeks, our campaign has been hard at work gathering signatures for my nominating petitions. In Pennsylvania, Democratic candidates for Congress need to collect the signatures of at least 1,000 registered Democrats. Today, we filed our petitions, and with well over the 1,000 required signatures!
I am especially proud of the diverse team of volunteers who made this possible and the diverse group of voters who signed my nominating petitions. We had over 70 volunteers from all walks of life, and every corner of PA-10. Our petition signatures reflect that same diversity - young and old, English speakers and non-English speakers, and people from a wide array of racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. This is the type of coalition that we need to turn out to beat Scott Perry in November, and I am proud that my campaign is well on its way.
