Legislators are in their second week of their short legislative session. My team and I are working hard on the top priority this year: Housing production. 

I introduced one bill this year. That’s how important it is to me to get this done for Oregon. 

In listening to communities across the state last year, I know how important it is to build more affordable housing for everyone, and to do it as quickly as possible. It’s an essential part of tackling our homelessness crisis and attracting more folks and jobs to our state. 

The housing production package includes a $500 million investment for new housing production, including support for climate-friendly homes and new directives for affordable housing construction. 

It’s a bill that will do a lot of good for Oregon, and I’m working hard with the legislature to get it across the finish line. 

We’ll need a groundswell of support to pass this bill — will you add your name today to show your support and encourage the legislature to approve more housing production ASAP?
