Democrats,

The Oklahoma Democratic Party believes this is the best decision for our Nation. Donald Trump has caused so much damage to our country and we cannot let him off the hook. But our work is not finished yet! This decision does not prevent the former President from running for office, or prevent his campaign from spreading more misinformation. Trump seeks to take back control of our country and is raising millions of dollars to do just that.

Former presidents should not be exempt from consequences due to their status. He needs to take responsibility for the actions he has caused before, during, and after his presidential term. If people with power and status participate in illegal behaviors they should be punished like any other criminal.
