If you haven’t yet met Himesh Bhise, we are beyond thrilled to introduce you to Arabella’s new CEO, who joined the firm late last year.
Himesh is a results-driven, collaborative, and values-aligned leader with over 25 years of management experience. He comes to us with an impressive track record of leading and scaling businesses in a variety of industries, and this expertise will be invaluable as we begin Arabella’s next chapter.
With Arabella Advisors, Kiwi Partners, and Redstone Strategy Group now all one family, we have significantly expanded our capabilities and are excited to serve the social sector in a holistic way. With Himesh at the helm, we will continue to build on our distinctive operations platform for fiscally sponsored projects and changemakers, outsourced accounting and HR services for nonprofits, and strategy consulting expertise to solve the world’s most urgent social issues.
“The opportunity to lead the remarkable team at Arabella Advisors is inspiring,” Himesh said. “Arabella has a legacy of innovative leadership and a pioneering spirit in serving clients across the social sector. I’m incredibly excited to work with our team and our clients to build a sustainable and successful platform that achieves our full potential and drives unprecedented impact for society.”
As we reflect on the last nearly two decades of partnership with the social sector and look forward to what’s to come, we are incredibly grateful and humbled to be able to continue facilitating effective, efficient changemaking—in all its forms. We couldn’t be happier Himesh will be the one leading the way. Keep an eye out for opportunities to meet and hear directly from Himesh in the months to come.

Our Latest Piece: Trends in Grantmaking and Philanthropic Engagement
Our teams of social impact strategists, operations experts, and implementers recently put their heads together to surface emerging trends in giving and grantmaking that we expect will shape the year ahead and beyond. These predictions—ranging from which issues are likely to receive increased attention to the approaches and practices that will proliferate among donors—are drawn from both publicly available data as well as our hundreds of client engagements, collaborations with partners, and observations over the past year.
We highlight eight predictions surrounding the changing landscape of philanthropy, focused specifically on funding sources, decisions, and vehicles. We hope these trends will spark fresh thinking, raise questions, or provide the encouragement or inspiration you need to help you seize opportunities and try new things this year, while knowing you’re in good company.

In 2024, more than half of the world’s population will head to the polls. That’s more than 4 billion people across 50 countries engaging in democracy’s defining act. They will do so in the context of a rapidly evolving digital landscape that both empowers modern democracy and threatens to undercut it. Across that digital landscape, citizens have constant access to information—but also to misinformation and disinformation. They can engage for change, educate themselves, and advocate in new and different ways—but their digital experiences are shaped by algorithms that often deepen siloes and insulate echo chambers. They can connect with like-minded people, parties, candidates, and movements—but they are potentially vulnerable to actors seeking to exploit division, erode trust, and even undercut democracy itself.
Given this urgency, we're not wasting any time engaging several of the field’s top thinkers for a virtual conversation on February 28 to explore the pivotal roles philanthropy can play in safeguarding democratic principles around the world while mitigating the challenges digital systems and disinformation bring. Moderated by Isaiah Castilla, a managing director at Arabella, our panel will feature:

Georgetown Business School Produces Arabella Advisors Case Study

Arabella Advisors was thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in Georgetown University’s case study, Arabella Advisors: Built for Impact at Scale, which illustrates how bold thinking, innovative leadership, and strategic decision-making positioned Arabella as a pioneer in the philanthropic services sector. The study highlights the evolution of our business, tracing organizational and structural shifts that have enabled us to provide best-in-class support services for our clients.
Arabella is incredibly proud of the work we do to help changemakers use philanthropic resources more effectively, efficiently, and equitably to accomplish their impact goals. It’s exciting that a respected and renowned institution like the McDonough School of Business chose to research the story of Arabella’s founding and our company’s history, and members of the Arabella team were glad to contribute to the project. We hope readers of this study will find it informative and inspiring, and come away with an appreciation for the ongoing story of innovation within the philanthropic sector.
