Another victory for Northwest Washington.

I cannot stress just how important it is that Democrats led the passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law back in 2021.

Another example of how it helps Northwest Washington: earlier this month, the Environmental Protection Agency shipped out over $11 million that will fund 33 electric buses across 17 school districts here at home.

This is part of the EPA's Clean School Bus Program, which will do two critical things right off the bat: get kids safely to school while reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. And that does not even begin to get into the benefits for public health, the jobs created, the transportation efficiencies...

The point is that when looked at alongside every other project like this funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, you know what I see? A generational promise kept by Democrats.

When someone grouses about the state of politics, or says it does not matter who wins or who loses in elections anymore, remember good laws like this — and then consider the circus Republicans continue to run in Washington D.C.

It does matter who wins in November. It matters a lot.
