Lanon is running for Congress because he believes all Iowans should have the opportunities afforded to him and his family: access to good-paying jobs, affordable health care, the ability to retire with dignity, and protection of women’s reproductive freedoms. As a Veteran, public servant, and father, Lanon will go to Washington to get things done for Iowans – regardless of party and background.

Michelle Vallejo, TX-15

Michelle is running to defeat far-right Republican Monica De La Cruz and represent TX-15 in Congress. She plans to advocate for all South Texans, bring down healthcare costs, help small businesses grow, defend our seniors, stand up for our veterans, and make quality education affordable for all.

Adam Hollier, MI-13
Veteran Adam Hollier is running to represent Michigan's 13th district in Congress. Born and raised in Detroit, Adam has fought tirelessly to uplift his community through initiatives like removing lead pipes, supporting literacy in Detroit schools, and establishing a Black equity fund. With his commitment to service, he is the right candidate to represent Michigan’s 13th District in Congress.

Janelle Bynum, OR-05

Janelle Bynum is a State Representative, small business owner, and mother of four running for Congress in Oregon’s 5th Congressional District – one of the most competitive, Republican-held seats in the country. She is running to unseat extremist Republican Rep. Lori Chavez-Deremer in Oregon’s 5th Congressional District.

Mandela and The Long Run are excited to endorse their newest round of pro-democracy changemakers in critical House races nationwide.

These candidates are the key to regaining the Democratic House majority and these endorsements are the beginning of the change we will fight for this November.
