This week in Congress the House was busy as we held many important votes and hearings. I was proud to debate the Secretary Mayorkas Impeachment Resolution on the House floor after marking up my articles in the Homeland committee. I wanted to take the time to fill you in on everything that happened last week and what's to come.

Leading on Capitol Hill

Last week, the House held a historic vote to impeach Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas after my articles were marked up and favorably reported out of the Homeland Security Committee. While this vote came up short when three RINOs voted with every single Democrat, the House will hold a second round of votes this week when Leader Scalise returns to the House.

We look forward to officially impeaching Secretary Mayorkas this week!

House and Senate Democrats have had the opportunity to work with Republicans to support H.R. 2, the strongest border bill in history, and they've refused. Instead, Senate Democrats proposed a pathetic immigration bill that does nothing to secure our border and stop the invasion of illegal aliens. This bill was dead on arrival and never had my support.

I'm proud to be cosponsoring the Sense of Congress resolution introduced by Congressman Matt Gaetz and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik affirming "President Trump Did Not Engage in Insurrection."

Democrats and the media have lied about President Trump for years claiming he was an insurrectionist without a single piece of evidence or any J6 defendant ever even being charged with insurrection.

Americans deserve safety in their communities! Our nation's capital should be one of the safest places in the world. Neither Members of Congress, their staff, nor any American should have to walk through the city in fear of being robbed or attacked because Democrats refuse to hold criminals accountable.

On this year's National Girls and Women in Sports Day, I wanted to take the time and highlight my incredible daughter and fellow women and girls in sports. Apply to Become an Intern in Congresswoman Greene’s Washington, DC Office

The Office of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is seeking interns for her office in Washington, DC. Applicants should be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and have interest in learning more about the legislative process. Start and end dates are flexible. Georgia ties are preferred, but not required. This is a paid position and college credit can be earned.

Interns will work in three different interest tracks:

Policy: Interns will work closely with the Congresswoman’s legislative team. Tasks include answering phones, assisting with legislative research, processing constituent mail, attending policy briefings, and additional tasks to aid the legislative team.
Communications: Interns will work closely with the Congresswoman’s communications team. Tasks include answering phones, compiling daily press and broadcast clips, organizing, maintaining, and updating media lists, drafting press releases, assisting with social media, and additional tasks to aid the communications team. Experience with the Adobe Suite is required.
Administrative: Interns will work closely with the scheduler and staff assistants to complete tasks that are essential for day-to-day office organization. These include answering phones, compiling contact lists, processing constituent mail, leading Capitol tours, completing flag requests, drafting constituent correspondence, and assisting with weekly reports.
