COVID-19 Update

As we watch the COVID-19 pandemic unfold around the United States, it is very important that the Fairfax Young Democrats take all necessary precautions during this period of time. Fairfax Young Democrats will be canceling all in-person meetings until the end of April. In the meantime, the FYD executive team is investigating some innovative virtual solutions to keep our membership up to date on the latest information. Be on the lookout for more information about these virtual sessions in the coming weeks. In addition to the cancellation of Fairfax Young Democrats activities, Virginia Young Democrats decided to postpone its annual organizational convention and they are actively working on a new date. Other Democratic community activities in Fairfax County have been canceled or postponed as well. During these times of hardship and uncertainty, we must remember to support our community. The bonds we built through FYD are strong and they are very important during this national health emergency. If you need any assistance during this time, please reach out to the FYD team.
