NIJ?s LEADS Scholars Program increases the research capabilities of law enforcement professionals and agencies, empowering law enforcement to integrate research into policies and practices.

Those who are selected will have the opportunity to attend the 2024 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference with all travel, accommodation, and per diem costs associated covered by NIJ, among other professional development benefits. ?

Note that for 2024, we will only be accepting applications for LEADS Officers and Civilians; our Academics program will re-open next year.?
