Quarterly Meeting Provides Latest Federal Updates on Phase II of the Second Avenue Subway Expansion

NEW YORK, NY – Monday, February 12th at 2:00 p.m. (EST), Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) will hold a press conference immediately following a roundtable discussion with key stakeholders to provide updates on phase two of the Second Avenue Subway expansion.

Rep. Espaillat, in coordination with Jamie Torres-Springer, President of MTA Construction & Development, will provide updates during a labor roundtable focused on workforce development and economic growth opportunities now that the Second Avenue Subway Phase II has received a federal full funding grant agreement and continues engagement at all levels of government in support of the expansion.

Representative Espaillat is the first Dominican American to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives and his congressional district includes Harlem, East Harlem, West Harlem, Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, Inwood, Marble Hill and the north-west Bronx. First elected to Congress in 2016, Representative Espaillat is serving his fourth term in Congress.
