Dear John

I wanted to update you on how the current Covid-19 outbreak is affecting our work at Animal Aid.

Further to the latest government advice, we have had to take the very difficult decision to fully close our offices. This means that we are no longer able to fulfil orders for goods and will not be able to answer telephone calls from supporters.

We have already suspended our school talks programme, as well as the sending out of campaign resources. However, we are doing all we can to continue our Education programme, such as promoting our free online resources, and offering Skype sessions instead of school talks.

Most of our staff are able to work remotely, so we are continuing with our campaigns work. Please rest assured that we are doing as much as we possibly can to ensure that we can continue to make vital progress for animals.

To maintain our campaign actions under these difficult circumstances, we are encouraging as many people as possible to support us online, safely from home. Please check out our Action Page to find the latest actions you can take to help.

Of course, in order to continue with our work, we are reliant upon your donations more than ever. We have had to close our shop just when sales of vegan Easter treats were at their height, and we can no longer attend events or take donations by phone. This means that we are especially grateful for any donation that you are able to make online.

Please donate and help us continue to fight for justice for animals.

We will continue to keep you updated, and thank you in advance for your support and understanding at this difficult time.

With very best wishes,

Isobel Hutchinson
Director
