MAGA Members of Congress won’t stop pushing the Big Lie, election conspiracies, and political violence every chance they get. We would laugh it off as desperate and sad if it didn’t jeopardize our democracy.
Following suit, MAGA Rep. Matt Gaetz just introduced a resolution in Congress absolving Trump of inciting the insurrection on January 6th, prioritizing kissing the ring over truth, freedom, and justice.
It’s all so pathetic. But now we have to fight this. We have to make sure our elected officials do not vote to pass a resolution that furthers the Big Lie, ignores accountability, and continues to push dangerous rhetoric and the MAGA extreme agenda.
Sign the petition: Every Member of Congress must uphold their duty and oppose Rep. Matt Gaetz’s resolution declaring that former President Trump “did not engage in insurrection.”

On February 6, Rep. Matt Gaetz introduced a resolution in Congress stating that former President Trump did not “engage in insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or give aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”
This is MAGA extremism in Congress. At every opportunity, election deniers like Gaetz are attempting to rewrite history and downplay the attack on our democracy on January 6. Since the attack failed, Trump loyalists like Rep. Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Speaker Johnson are attempting to destroy public trust in our election systems and perpetuate the Big Lie.
On January 6, Trump incited a violent mob to attack the U.S. Capitol with the intention of stopping the legal certification of a democratic election. MAGA extremists in Congress cannot rewrite history.
