said that Israel will continue its operation in Gaza to destroy the remaining Hamas battalions, saying that victory over the terror group is within reach.
The next phase of the war is likely to take place in Rafah, a city in Gaza along the border with Egypt. Reports suggest that more than 1 million Palestinians are now in the area after being evacuated from the northern part of Gaza over the past few months.
"Those who say that under no circumstances should we enter Rafah, are basically saying, 'lose the war,'" said Netanyahu.
The prime minister reiterated that Israel will continue to take steps to evacuate innocent Palestinians from the warzone, as it has throughout this operation. Netanyahu spoke about this plan with President Biden in a 45-minute call this morning.

Aid into Gaza
The Israeli military continues to facilitate aid and humanitarian relief into Gaza. Today, the IDF announced ten zones in Gaza where Palestinians would be able to safely replenish food and water during a four-hour tactical pause in fighting.
Israel is also facilitating the transfer of patients to a new floating hospital being provided by the Emiratis, which will dock off the coast of Egypt.
IDF forces brought needed supplies to the Al-Amal Hospital today in Gaza, where it found and apprehended 20 Hamas terrorists who were hiding in the hospital.
Super Bowl ads spotlight 136 hostages
During the Super Bowl tonight, viewers will see commercials produced by Israel spotlighting the hostages who are still held captive by Hamas in Gaza. One ad reads "in a roaring stadium, their silence is deafening" showing empty seats in honor of the hostages. A second commercial pays tribute "to all the dads – the funny ones, the silly ones, the strong ones, the adventurous ones" and says "we vow to bring you all home."
