The places we grow up shape us, and that could not be more true for me and my hometown of Albany, New York. It gave me an appreciation for hard-working Americans, just trying to do the best for themselves and their families. It also gave me my love for politics which has led me to a career in public service.

Albany, and most importantly the people living there, imbued me with the value of hard work and a sense of duty to my community. This has served me most in my career as a public servant and as a representative of the 21st district of New York.

We need more leaders who have grown up with these same values of hard work, leadership, and an appreciation for the American Dream. That is why we need to come behind Dave McCormick and support him in his run for Senate.

Dave hails from Bloomsburg, PA, a small town in Northeastern Pennsylvania that clearly played a pivotal role in getting Dave to where he is today. Dave grew up working on his parents’ farm in the summers and leading the football and wrestling teams during the school year. His parents, both educators, instilled in him the importance of a good education and also made it clear that there were no shortcuts in life. His coaches, friends, and family all made sure Dave learned how to work hard and fight through adversity.

Their hard work paid off because Dave ended up getting a scholarship to West Point for wrestling, joining the 82nd Airborne, serving in the First Gulf War, building a successful business career, serving in the highest levels of government, and ultimately leading one of the largest investment funds in the world.

But, Dave never would have achieved all of that if it weren’t for Bloomsburg or his community.

We are seeing more and more that laziness, moral cowardice, and failed leadership seem to rule the day in Washington, and we need more leaders in Washington who have the virtues of hard work, duty, and courage embedded in them.

Dave is just the man we need in Washington because he knows how to selflessly lead – that’s what he grew up doing.

But, Dave is in a tough fight, and he is going to need all the help he can get. He is off to a great start, but he needs our help to carry the momentum.

Will you join me in supporting Dave McCormick as he runs to kick out a 17-year, ineffective career politician? His opponent, Bob Casey, has been a rubberstamp for Biden’s failed agenda, and he has to go.

Every dollar helps, and with your support, we can bring more successful, courageous, and effective leaders to Washington.
