As a former Navy SEAL and combat veteran, I’ve seen my fair share of battle. Between my and my wife’s service to our country, we’ve sacrificed years of our lives to make America a more safe and prosperous nation and to protect our God-given freedoms and liberties. We served so that our children and yours might grow up to realize their own American Dreams.
My name is Tim Sheehy, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate from Montana. You probably don't know me, or if you do, likely from emails like this one. I’m a former U.S. Navy SEAL and a 2008 Naval Academy graduate. Right now, I'm the only person standing in the way of Chuck Schumer and his Senate majority.
I'm reaching out today to make the case that I'm worth your personal endorsement.
In August 2021, I was putting out wildfires in California by day as part of the aerial firefighting company that I run; by night, my colleagues [many veterans like me] and I were working the phones trying to get our friends and allies out of Afghanistan before the takeover by the Taliban. I remember vividly that at one point I was trying to help an ally sneak through a tunnel to get him and his family to the airport so that they could be evacuated on a U.S. military aircraft. The Taliban wanted these high-value targets dead; they wanted their families dead.
Unlike Joe Biden, I understand what it is to serve our country. Not service in politics, but on the battlefield. I’ve been wounded in service of our nation; I’ve lost mentors and friends who were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice so that future generations will be free.
Today, I’m reaching out to ask you to personally endorse my campaign to become the next U.S. Senator from Montana.
Chuck Schumer and Washington Democrats know that I pose a direct threat to their chances of holding on to power, and they'll do anything to stop me from winning this race – and spend $100M plus in the process.
Fellow Conservative, I am under no illusions that you will support my campaign the first time you hear from me. But my life experiences have taught me that anything worth having requires working tirelessly, breaking down walls, and moving mountains to get it.

In the Navy, finding yourself between a rock and a hard place is easy. This rings especially true for the individuals who have earned the honor of serving in the elite task force that is the Navy SEALs, a group of highly trained combat warriors – a brotherhood – in which I earned a spot following my graduation from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis.

Being a SEAL isn’t a one-man job; it takes teamwork, problem-solving, and coming to a consensus. When you’re on missions in the harshest environments known to man, you must act as a unit and recognize you’re only as strong as the weakest among you.
I’ve deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, South America, and the Pacific during my time as a SEAL, and I have been involved in dozens of engagements with enemy forces and survived to tell the tales. And believe me, there are some tales.
I’ve seen the world’s dangers and stood up for freedom in the face of terrorism. I know the strength it takes to stand up and fight for what is right – which is why I am determined to take on the anti-American, radical Left in Washington as Montana’s next U.S. Senator.

Our homeland is in danger. Radical Democrats in Washington want to fundamentally alter the fabric of this GREAT nation. This FAR-LEFT liberal agenda is assaulting our society, communities, and the American Dream.
The Democrats’ grip on power is seriously undermining our freedom, prosperity, and security.
The only way to flip the Senate next year is to nominate a strong conservative candidate who can defeat my liberal Democrat opponent in 2024.
We need a proven warrior to take back this Senate seat and take on the Democrats in Washington. I hope hearing my story proves I am the man for the job.
